This evening found me on the road, once again. As I was leaving my destination, it was once again in time for the sunset. Tonight wasn’t quite as dramatic as last, but nonetheless beautiful.
The sun was an unobstructed ball of golden magenta. There were only a few wispy clouds in the sky, which allowed me to see the moon rising as well. Back to the sun. As I was driving, the sun was sinking fast, and the clouds absorbed and reflected color. Again, not as brilliant as last night. Instead, this evening, the wisps were like pink tendrels reaching across the sky to mimic the sun’s rays.
It was, once again, a very peaceful ride home.
